Devon at heart
A local starting point and an understanding that every property, from town houses to rural homes, is different.
Solar panels, battery storage and EV charging.
Smart energy, designed around the way you live.

Start with solar. Add storage. Connect your car.
We bring the equipment together into one considered system for your home.
Your solar array turns daylight into electricity. Use it at home, direct available surplus to your battery, or power compatible EV charging.
Use solar at home first, then store available surplus for later.
Concept model · equipment appearance and operation vary by installation. Illustrative flow · charging and storage depend on available energy and your system settings.
Add a battery, update an inverter or bring EV charging into the mix.

We’re RMVM Solar, based in Devon.
Our focus is simple: the right equipment, a considered installation and a system you understand.
A local starting point and an understanding that every property, from town houses to rural homes, is different.
Panels, storage, inverters and charging considered together, with compatibility at the centre of the design.
Understand what is included, how your equipment works and what to expect before moving forward.
Tell us about your property, your energy use and what you want to achieve.
A property assessment informs the equipment, system design and a clear proposal.
Installation, commissioning and a walkthrough of your equipment and controls.
Yes. Start with a review of your current panels, inverter and electrical setup. We can explore replacement equipment, battery storage and EV charging, with compatibility checked before any work is proposed.
Some battery systems can operate without solar and charge from the grid. The right setup depends on your electricity tariff, energy use and equipment. We can discuss standalone storage as well as solar-connected options.
Solar panels generate from daylight, so they can still produce electricity in cloudy conditions. Output varies with weather, shading, roof orientation and the time of year. Your proposal should reflect your actual property.
A compatible smart charger can use available solar generation. How much reaches your car depends on sunlight, household demand, your vehicle and when it is plugged in. Grid electricity can provide additional charging when needed.
Not automatically. Backup power requires compatible equipment and a specifically designed installation. Tell us if this is a priority so it can be assessed as part of your system.
